How do you build awareness of a company whose entire premise is against forcing thousands of advertisements on people daily? It is certainly not done through advertising. This was the problem facing CoolAgent.com (now CABC). CoolAgent.com believes that consumers should be compensated for viewing advertisements, and that the advertisers should be willing to pay consumers to view their ads. CoolAgent.com developed a system for delivering TV-quality advertisements to consumers at their computers. Accompanying each ad is an offer of payment -- $1, $2 or perhaps more -- that the consumer would receive for watching the ad and potentially answering a few questions about the ad. Great concept, but how do they tell people about it without advertising?

Digista implemented a viral marketing campaign to spread news of CoolAgent.com and its advertising concept via Internet word-of-mouth. Digista planted the right seeds in the right places all across the Internet in order to get people to spread news about the concept, and even coordinated a Saturday afternoon chat session with the founders of CoolAgent in order to educate early adopters of the program.
